About the IPPEC Insect Learning Community
The Insect Learning Community is part of IPPEC — the Insect Protein Production Expertise Center — an international initiative building practical knowledge and capacity in insect farming and insect protein production, co-funded by the European Union and OPZuid.
IPPEC is led by New Generation Nutrition (NGN) together with Insect Engineers, Feed Design Lab, Nijsen Company and IQ-Climate, bringing together research, technology and hands-on farming experience.
The Learning Community connects farmers, entrepreneurs, researchers, trainers and policymakers from around the world, so knowledge moves both ways — from high-tech facilities to small-scale producers, and back.
Testing, validating and demonstrating scalable insect farming practices.
Training, workbooks and peer networks for professionals, students and entrepreneurs — this platform.
Research into new techniques, waste reduction and business models for the sector.
Backed by leading partners in insect protein production
